Become A Cosmetologist “Your New Career”

Looking for a cosmetology school?  One of the most important tasks  is to research the history of the school. Go to the location if at all possible to discover it’s environment. The way it makes you feel is so important. Friendly service on the phone and at the front desk is a must. The school should resemble someplace you would want to be employed.

The instructors should emulate someone who you would want to be. Also consider the schools hours of operation. Some schools may offer night classes that may accommodate your schedule. Look around your area to find the best school possible that fits the needs of your future career. Some may also want to consider an apprenticeship program that is offered by many fine establishments that produce quality certified professionals in their field.

There are many exciting areas to specialize in under the cosmetology license umbrella. Professional stylists, nail technician, skin esthetician, massage therapist, makeup artist, permanent makeup technician, cosmetics manufacturer’s representative, photo/movie stylist, cosmetology educator, platform artist, beauty writer/editor. Please free to look around our site and enjoy. We believe the more diverse your education and culture in cosmetology will empower you to become the very best cosmetologist you can be for yourself and your clients.

Shasta School of Cosmetology

One of the coolest things we get to do as licensed cosmetologists  is pay it forward. Today I spent the day with students from the Shasta School of Cosmetology. I have to tell you it is not hard to see why this school has one of the highest passing rates in California.

I arrived a little early and was greeted with the what I call the  early birds. They are the students know matter what they are there and enter the class before anybody else. Let it be known that we at become a  cosmetologist encourage this type of behavior.

Note: This type of motivation may lead to a cosmetology license and much success and happiness.

What an amazing group of talented people both the staff and the students. It is truly inspiring to me to stand next to some one and feel the energy of some one who has decided to become a cosmetologist.

Some of these students will stop at nothing to fulfill their dream of becoming a cosmetologist. It truly shows. I witnessed some of the best sets from a second week of cosmetology school that I had ever seen. Good luck to everyone at SSC.

If you are ever in the Redding California area and in need of any salon service think of Shasta School of Cosmetology.

So no matter where you are work on mastering the basics in cosmetology school so you can build on those skills and learn new ones. Who knows you may just end up being the next North American Hairdresser of the Year.
